GK:- Indian National Congress was founded in 1885 by Allan Octavian Hume and Dinshaw Edulji Wacha. Under the chairmanship Womesh Chandra Bonnerjee, the first session of Indian National Congress took place in Bombay 28-30 December 1885.
In 1885, the Indian National Congress was founded. Womesh Chunder Bonnerjee was the first president of Indian National Congress.
