List of districts in Madhya Pradesh 2023:- The absolute number of locale in MP is 52. Districts in MP and their Administrative Divisions (List of districts in Madhya Pradesh 2023)

In order to facilitate smooth administration, MP’s districts are divided into ten administrative divisions. We have recorded the 10 divisions and the MP locale that go under them here –

  • Ujjain – The Ujjain division comprises the Dewas, Neemuch, Shajapur, Ratlam, Agar Malwa, Mandsaur, and Ujjain locale.
  • Bhopal: The districts of Raisen, Sehore, Rajgarh, Vidisha, and Bhopal are all part of this division in MP.
  • Barwani, Indore, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Burhanpur, Dhar, Khargone, and Khandwa districts make up the Indore division.
  • Chambal – This division comprises 3 MP areas, in particular, Bhind, Morena and Sheopur.
  • Shoknagar, Datia, Guna, Gwalior, and Shivpuri districts are all part of this division.
  • Rewa: The districts of Satna, Singrauli, Rewa, and Sidhi make up the Rewa division.
  • The districts of Balaghat, Jabalpur, Mandla, Seoni, Dindori, Narsinghpur, Katni, and Chhindwara are all included in this division of Jabalpur.
  • Harda, Betul, and Narmadapuram districts in MP are all part of the Narmadapuram division.
  • Umaria, Anuppur, and Shahdol districts make up the Shahdol division.
  • The districts of Chhatarpur, Panna, Tikamgarh, Niwari, Sagar, and Damoh are all part of the administrative division known as Sagar.

Proposed Districts in MP

The Madhya Pradesh state cabinet approved a bill on March 19, 2020, to establish the following three MP districts.

  • Chachaura neighborhood
  • District of Maihar
  • Nagda area

It is speculated that these districts will be established soon, despite the fact that they have not yet been established. After the formation of the three new locales, the complete number of areas in MP will raise from 52 to 55.
