List of districts in Odisha 2023:- There are (thirty) 30 districts in Odisha at the moment. When Odisha became a province on April 1, 1936, it only had five districts. The state has seen the addition of numerous districts over the years. A District Magistrate (DM) and Collector oversee the 30 districts of Odisha as distinct administrative units.

An Indian Administrative Service-appointed Collector and District Magistrate oversee each District. 

The Collector & District Magistrate is in charge of collecting taxes and keeping the district’s order. Sub-collectors and sub-divisional magistrates oversee each sub-division of each district. Tahasils further subdivide the Sub-Divisions. Tahasildar is in charge of the Tahasils. 30 Districts, 58 Sub-Divisions, 317 Tahasils, and 314 Blocks make up Odisha.
