List of Districts in Rajasthan 2023:- With the addition of 19 new districts announced today by the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, the total number of districts in Rajasthan now stands at 50. A District Magistrate and a Superintendent of Police serve as the leaders of each district.
The seven divisions of Ajmer, Kota, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Bikaner, and Udaipur encompass these districts. For administrative convenience, Rajasthan’s districts are divided into distinct divisions.
Pratapgarh is the most recent district to be included in the state of Rajasthan. In 2008, it was added to the state as a new district. All of the names of Rajasthan’s districts, as well as information about their size and population, are listed here.

Rajasthan will have 50 districts in total as of 2023. In the state, there is a need to create more districts. Because of the assembly election, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan has stated that there will be 19 additional new districts in Rajasthan. This information was made public today.
Rajasthan became a state on March 30, 1949, and it was reorganized in 1956 with 26 districts. The total number of districts in Rajasthan now stands at fifty. Numerous new districts were added in subsequent years.

Districts in Rajasthan – Divisions
For administrative convenience, Rajasthan’s districts are broken up into seven distinct divisions. The divisions and the districts that are part of them are described in detail below.
- Baran, Bundi, Jhalawar, and Kota are the divisions that make up Kota.
- Ajmer is made up of the districts of Ajmer, Bhilwara, Nagaur, and Tonk in this division.
- Jaipur – This division comprises of Alwar, Dausa, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, and Sikar.
- The Banswara, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, and Udaipur districts of Rajasthan are all included in this division of Udaipur.
- Jodhpur is made up of Barmer, Jaisalmer, Jalore, Jodhpur, Pali, and Sirohi in this division.
- Bikaner: Bikaner, Churu, Hanumangarh, and Sri Ganganagar are all part of this division.
- Bharatpur includes Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli, and Sawai Madhopur in this division.
